Update Information for April 6, 2012 (V 2.27)

The ECD Global Alliance Board of Directors Listing  as found on the “ECD Global Alliance” page was updated to show new Board members.

Chat summaries were added to the “Chat Room” page.

The Case Locations as found on the “Patient-to-Patient” and “ECD Global Alliance” pages, was updated.

New entries were made to the “Abstracts of Published Papers” as listed under the “Technical Papers” selection for recently published papers. The additions are as follows:

1. An article published in Rheumatology.  The article is entitled, “Whole-body MRI in Erdheim-Chester disease” and is without an abstract.
2. An article publised in Br J Radiol .  The article is entitled, “Erdheim-Chester disease associated with intramedullary spinal cord lesion” and includes an abstract.

An update was made to the “How Can I Help?” page, providing an update on the 2nd Annual Gary Brewer Memorial 5K/1mile Run/Walk.  This fund raiser was well attended and all donations went to the ECD Global Alliance.

The home page was updated to remove the announcement regarding Rare Disease Day that is observed the last day of February each year.
