Update Information for November 30, 2011 (V 2.23)

The “ECD Global Alliance” page now has information about the Development Director recently added to the organization’s staff.

The “Patient-to-Patient” page was updated to add a link to a version of the “A Man Blessed” story that does not require a subscription to a newspaper.  A link was also removed to the HAA message board since the existing link was changed and there has been no information published on the message board since July 2011.

New entries were made to the “Abstracts of Published Papers” as listed under the “Technical Papers” selection for recently published papers. The additions are as follows:

1. An article published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.  The article is entitled, “Role of iconographic examinations in the treatment algorithm in erdheim-chester disease” and includes an abstract.
2. An article published in the journal, Klin Onkol.  The article is entitled, “Partial regression of CNS lesions of Erdheim-Chester disease after treatment with 2-chlorodeoxadenosine and their full remission following treatment with lenalidomide” and inclues an abstract.
3. An article published in the journal, Ann Dermatol Venereol.  The article is entitled, “Associated Langerhans cell histiocytosis and Erdheim-Chester disease” and includes an abstract.
4. An article published in the journal, Eur J Echocardiogr.  The article is entitled, “Cardiac involvement in Erdheim-Chester disease: echocardiographic appearance and value of cardiac MRI” and is without an abstract.
5. An article published in the journal, Radiographics.  The article is entitled, “Sclerosing bone dysplasias: review and differentiation from other causes of osteosclerosis” and includes an abstract.
6. An article published in the journal, Hell J Nucl Med.  The article is entitled, “(18)F-FDG positron emission tomography/computed tomography and (99m)Tc-MDP skeletal scintigraphy in a case of Erdheim-Chester disease” and includes an abstract.
7. An article published in the journal, Curr Opin Rheumatol.  The article is entitled, “Erdheim-Chester disease” and includes an abstract.
