什麼是 Erdheim-Chester 病？

Erdheim-Chester 病是一種極其罕見的疾病，可影響身體的許多不同器官。它的特點是過量產生和積累特定細胞，其正常功能是抵抗感染。這些細胞稱為組織細胞，浸潤到身體鬆散的結締組織中。結果，該組織變得增厚、緻密和纖維化。多個不同的器官可能會受到影響。除非找到成功的治療，否則可能導致器官衰竭。
