ECD knowledgeable physicians from Hungary, India, Italy and United States were added to the ‘Physicians’ page.

An additional paper entitled, “Unusual Nonneoplastic Peritoneal and Subperitoneal Conditions: CT Findings”, published in 2005 was added to the ‘Published Papers’ page.

A note was added to the ‘Published Papers’ page explaining that the ECD Global Alliance has received some published articles on ECD that are not available online.  The doctors who authored these papers have generously made them available to us.  The alliance is trying to gain permission from the publishers to post those articles on this website.  Therefore, if you are searching for a particular article, please contact us.  We may have the article you are searching to find and could perhaps send you the information you need.

A Rare Disease Day icon was added to the main menu area.  Rare Disease Day, being sponsored by the National Organization of Rare Disorders (NORD), will be observed February 28, 2009.  The purpose of this observance will be to raise awareness of rare diseases and the need for safe, effective treatments.  For more information concerning Rare Disease Day, please click on the related icon on the main menu area.
