Update Information for Apr. 20, 2010 (V 2.4)

A change was made to the “Home” page to allow more information to be displayed in an easily accessible manner.  Additional information was provided on this page regarding a grant opportunity to study ECD and information on how to donate money to the ECD Global Alliance.

A menu item, “Grants”, was added to announce the ECD Global Alliance is now soliciting grant applications for ECD-related research projects.

An update was made to the “ECD Patient Brochure” and the “ECD Brochure with Medical Terms” found under the “Resources” menu selection and then the “Brochures” selection.

An update was made to the “ECD Global Alliance” page to provide a link to the ECD Global Alliance Medical Advisory Board Member List.  This page was also updated to show the current number of patients represented by the organization, to provide a link to the Networking Directory Sign Up Form, and to correct a couple grammatical errors.

An update was added to the “Case Locations” file to show the latest information regarding patients registered with the organization.

New chat summaries were added to the “Chat Room” page.

A new link was provided to the “Resources | Links” page for the United Spinal Association that offers free publications that could help those with mobility issues.

The NORD (National Organization of Rare Disorders) logo, found at the bottom of the menu area, was changed to reflect the recently adopted new logo for NORD.

A few links were fixed on the “Links” page found under the “Resources” menu selection.

Additional acronyms were defined on the “Definitions and acronyms” page found under the “Resources” menu selection.
